→ How did we come up with The ITEM Subscription Plan?

The ITEM set out to assist new entrants into the tech sector with specific focus on people of color.  As we developed our programming, we realized new techies - even the most dedicated among them - need more than knowledge. They need wisdom. And wisdom takes time.

To become wise, we found our students need guidance and mentorship to choose the right path, to build the right skills, the right way. Our Plan harnesses the power of community as a critical support tool to help you during your tech career. We offer community through your classmates, your cohorts and convening monthly: Introducing the new The ITEM Subscription Plan.

→ So what do I get from The ITEM Subscription Plan?

The objective of the Subscription Plan is to provide a tailored, year long curriculum comprised of monthly seminars designed to educate our members as to the basic skills and norms as well as the latest technologies in the Cloud and Devops space.  Starting in January 2019, The ITEM subscribers will have access to:

• The Askmentor Series:  Career tracks to support its educational offering for tech professionals and tech entrepreneurs.

• Discount on courses, e.g., Intro to Cloud Computing, Bootcamp, Intro to Devops 1 + 2 etc.

• Scholarships available for qualified members (must complete certificate)

• Attend general events of The ITEM for free.

→ How much does the Subscription Plan cost*: $365 a year. Promotions follow:

November 1 - December 31, 2018:

—> Career Development Track: $11.11 monthly or $111 yearly

—> Tech Entrepreneurship Track: $22.22 monthly or $222 yearly

January to March 31, 2019

—> Career Development Track: $15 monthly or $180 yearly
—> Tech Entrepreneurship Track: $25 monthly or $300 yearly

April 1, to December 31, 2019

—> Career Development Track: $20 monthly or $180 yearly
—> Tech Entrepreneurship Track: $30 monthly or $300 yearly
